Lived on Downham for many years and born in the east end.
Worked for Lewisham council.
Bill was very much loved by all with 5 brothers. Bill loved a family party and get together. He had a loving wife Elsie who is a wonderful mother and gran with 3 brilliant children, Bill, Kath and Carole. who went on to have grandchildren- BILL 3 daughters Becky Carrie and Laura,
KATH 2 daughters Jackie and Jayne and CAROLE 2 daughters Caroleann and Rachel. all girls. and then came along 14 great gran children.
Bill was always smartly dressed, shirt Pressed with braces to the trousers and shiny shoes. He loved his garden and fish pond, and had loads of medals from the war.
We all miss you dearly Bill and will always be in our hearts X
6 years today grandad and still miss you so very much, we was with nan today she misses you, we may not see you but your in our hearts and we think of you every day, love you always and forever Caroleann xxxxxxx

We miss you very much, Elsie is doing fine, been in hospital a couple of times but she's doing ok, She misses you so much like the rest of us,
wish you were here christmas, we are staying at Carole's up the club Xmas Eve we aint done that in ages, I think you would have loved it. Remember Sarah, Sarah Sitting in a shoe shine shop bloody brilliant you were singing to us with Carole, she still does it now when were all pissed!!!!
